The Interview…July 21…The Decision… Aug 4…The Cut… Aug 6
July 21 A journalist asked to interview me. Aug 4 I let my Principal know I didn’t desire to return. August 6 the article was published. I made the decision to leave full-time teaching, to homeschool Akerele and other youths.. It was a difficult decision, chasing the bag became my only reason to stay….After much prayer, meditation, sitting in the stillness, in the quiet…I remembered all the other reasons why I desired to leave. Following my heart made it an easy decision. ..I surrender. I trust. I let go…. I am.growing. I am free to be as I am divinely called to be. I give thanks and praise. Thank you everyone for your patience with Sankofa Science, we are getting structured and organized. Fall classes and more info coming real soon. I know many of you homeschooling parents have already started your learning journey. However IF you are still needing Science labs and instruction for your scholar …Stay tuned!!
